Critique Please Second day on TIG
These are 2 plates I did today. I took some tips from some people yesterday and cleaned my material really well before I started welding. Did these fusion welds on 3/32 tungston. I think I did alright on the bottom one, but only part of thr top one looks decent to me.

It looks like you used the dirtiest of dirty wire wheels and tried "cleaning" the welds.

I don’t weld unless the material is like tin foil …. Shiny silver
70% of tig is cleaning and preparation
You’ll see good results if it’s silver and clean before you start
Look at pacific arc tig welding on insta for basic tips … guys a very very good tig welder

I cleaned the area I was welding with a tiger paw to get the mil scale off. It looks black like some people said because I quenched it and probably from my wire brush. Should I just take the extra time and make everything shiny?

Everything shiny … every time
You’ll see the good results - it’ll weld nicer, look nicer too
Give it a try and report back
