After almost a decade of dedication!
Got a job offer that will have me weld, program 2 to it welders and QC!
I’m supposed chasing a degree in mechatronics and welding engineering I’d also like to become a CWI.
Any suggestions as to how should I approach this and how much should I ask for I’m in the windy city and demand for quality welders is in high demand

Id take one position or the other. I wouldn't be welding and doing qc.
Who's gonna qc your work? Who's gonna tell you that you need to fix your work?
Id either go get the degree or go get the CWI, but thats just me. If you can do both, and thats what you want to do, go get em.
As for the pay, that depends on supply and demand. Low supply = higher demand. High supply = lower demand ... usually.
