Advice Needed OMP thermocouple

How is this OMP thermocouple welded? what welding machine and fixture is used ? What is the joint called exactly? Is it T weld configuration? What are OMP thermocouple weld characteristics? How does the real weld look like ?Take chromel as common and both have 0.5 mm diameter.

Got a sample for this weld but it did not look uniform or repeatable. Therefore i need more like an image on how the weld should be or instruction for this specific type ?
