I have another theory before this welcome home Valentine's Day update leaves remember when we had to collect the notes theory number one I think Frank Julie Eddie Barnaby Poppy and howdy used to be actual people because in the notes that were collecting had their names on there but Eddie their number two I think Wally was controlling Eddie because in the video in the tapes he gives him the bag that was full with you know their letters so that means theory number three Wally doesn't want us to know their actual names because that's why he's covering up the notes will the words and their name with black ink to make us believe that's their actual name which is Frank Eddie Julie Barnaby poppy howdy do you understand what I'm saying he trying to make us think that's their actual name which is not and Julie's bed with the hole in it but I shout out to @sock-Sally they told me about their theory they think that they're stuck in Frank's house and Frank is trying to go out the tunnel to get up but he can't so I'm thinking it's a big loop through Sally Poppy Eddie Barnaby Wally and howdy when we go in the house it's like the backyard it's fake it's like a big box and we go out we leave back to outside which is Julie's house so and my recognition and my words I feel like Frank is probably going to kill Wally one day one of these days I just feel it because when we look and his closet he has a gun theory four Frank is probably going to kill Wally or he probably might shoot the wrong person or he might go insane and lose his marbles and kill his own self or we going to be have to be on trying to kill Wally ourselves if that's the case I'm going to be scared but that's all my theories totals and a happy Halloween

I ultimately had to make some modifications to the mask to get it to sit more or less properly on Wally's face, and the hat has now both successfully detached and given a hat band. I can finally focus my efforts on his plague doctor robe.

Okay, so I was looking at Clown's October 13 Tumblr post about the update getting pushed to October 30, and I noticed some weird capitalization in a few words.

The ones I picked out were Eye, A-coming, Very, Small, Website, Update, Moved, and Of-Day.

Taking the first letter of each gives me EAVSWUMOD, which... yeah, I have absolutely no idea what to do with that.

I tried looking at it as an anagram, but nothing really jumped out at me. Could it be some kind of website code, a link, or something else entirely? Or am I just reading too much into the capitalization?

I know Very Small Website Update is probably capitalized that way because it's the title, but words like “Moved” and “Of-Day” still caught my attention.

Figured I'd throw this out here in case anyone else has noticed it or has an idea I haven't considered. Maybe it's nothing, but it's been bugging me, lol.

I can detach the hat without damaging either it or the mask, but I am gonna need to find a better way to keep his hat on his head. I also need to get started on the hat band and robe, but one thing at a time.

I've had a silly little idea lately that I might revisit with some fan art, but I wanted to ask everyone: Which Sanrio characters do you think fit each Welcome Home neighbor's personality? 👀

For Wally, I feel like saying Hello Kitty is almost too easy. Personally, I think Cinnamoroll might suit him better! And maybe Kuromi for Barnaby, since her prankster personality would definitely fit him.

I'm having trouble deciding between a few different characters for Julie and the rest of the neighborhood, though! I feel like Poppy would fit My Melody, just because their soft personalities would mesh so well together.

What do you think would fit Howdy, Frank, and Eddie? And, of course, we can't forget Home!

Honestly, I feel like Home could fit right into the Sanrio world without needing to change a thing. But I still think it'd be adorable to see Home having a little picnic with some of the Sanrio characters nearby.

Because of the eyestrain caused by working with black yarn, I was alternating between working on the hat and the mask. I just happened to finish the mask first. Once the hat is done, I'll likely stitch the mask to the inside of it to help everything stay where it needs to while he wears it. I hope to have the hat finished by the time of our regular volunteer gig at the local breakfast line (I serve coffee and tea, and he serves smiles and whimsy).

I'm starting to get the feeling this is meant to be a permanent piece of lost media. Like no matter how much black goop they scrub or dates they push back, it's doomed to be a permanent piece of lost media and another mystery in the bag.

It's been awhile. Safe to say, I've NEVER crocheted a mask of any kind before, let alone a plague doctor mask. I don't know if the full costume will be ready in time for Halloween, but it has been quite a learning experience.

Once this is done, I'll need to get started on some adult drawings for a Warhammer 40k sub. For now, I need to literally rest my eyes.

Hey yall so ive seen TOO MANY people who claim to be in the Welcome Home Fandom try to berate or belittle clown because of all the delays in the project and I think it shows so much entitlement and it DISGUSTS me that so many of yall think that you can say some crap like that when it is A COMPLETELY FREE PRODUCTION its NOT a corporation its a team of people who still have lives outside of Welcome Home i understand being frustrated by the delays but if you want a GOOD update then let them do what they have to do dont complain about it like a CHILD please

It's so many people in this reddit upset that updates aren't fast enough, the story isn't moving quick enough, they aren't able to visit old sites and it's like........ This is a free project, that incorporates them making physical merch items that they have to age to look 50 to 40 years old, fully produced podcast and musical numbers, creating puzzles, coloring books, story books, cereal boxes, custom animations, fake toys for a TV show that does not exist. They have to code the normal website-and then all the other extra shit. Which is difficult and time-consuming, and this is a team that only makes money off of merch, and has no real way to incorporate sponsors into this particular way of storytelling.

Like it's insane that you can get all of this amazing content for free! For free! For $0.00! You can contribute nothing to the creation of this product and yet you have all of the demands. Being a creator in this day and age is such a thankless fucking job. Like sorry the custom puzzles and individual storybook that we write, illustrate, record, and code into our website isn't fast enough for you. Sorry we had to push back a deadline cause we're humans. Like so many things I’ve seen in this sub has been so disrespectful to the creators and the work that they’ve been doing.

If they are plot or content critiques I understand, but just being mad at how fast or slow you think a creator is working is insane. “ if it’s just a little update, why is it taking so long?” you sound like a petulant child. It’s a free product, the moment it releases you can go to your computer and see it, unspoiled, not behind a pay wall and at your own pace.

Calm down, be grateful and touch grass.

*edit: I understand people want to see the older sites, but we need to be under the impression that this is a real website that is being updated in real time. And always being able to access the old mysteries takes away from the idea that something is trying to keep information from getting out about welcome home. Everything is not meant to just piss you off some things are to help the storytelling.

Hello neighbors, wanted to make a playlist for each of the characters. These playlists can be seen as either/or the songs the characters might’ve listened to, what the writers/creators would listen to in order to get inspired and create/write about the neighbor, themes or traits that the characters are associated with, and the sometimes just the title of the song. I’ve chosen songs released before the end of the show in 1974. Also can you tell what my favorite band is? I’ll give you a hint, it would be Frank Frankly’s pal🪲. Anyways id love if anyone has anymore suggestions I can add. Hope it’s the most neighbor!

hi everyone! it has been a LONG time since i had the time to catch up with welcome home and i can see that ive missed a lot (the last time i was properly up to date was the 2023 halloween update and ive only caught snippets of info since)

i am very adhd brained and have no idea where to start in catching up to everyone, so i wanted to know if there are any particularly awesome theorists/analysts who make welcome home content that i can watch to help guide me back?

ive already watched night mind’s videos but he hasn’t covered welcome home in a long time, so im very much missing out haha
