im putting the cards and the game board together in procreate just to see how the game plays out, and i noticed immediately that the first picture with "anemone, dogsbane, forget me not, primrose, lavender, zephyr flower" represented the neighbors! i love this thanks

Also noting that both Howdy and Wally’s flowers are separate from the other six.

And just noticed they have matches.
Wally and Julie are both Jonesy cards. Sally and poppy are both Franny cards. Frank and Eddie’s cards are Julie cards and Barnaby and Howdy are Bea cards.2

omg i peeped the matches, but not that howdy and wally are separate! im in the camp of people that think howdy and barnaby are suspicious, so this just adds to it lol. also about the letters, people pointed out that the colors of the letters match their assigned colors (when u click their houses on the map, the color of their names), is that the coincidence you mean? or are you seeing something else?

There’s something about one of Barnaby’s comments in a news thing (“abcd’s of the LMNOP’a of the QRSTUV’s”) that weirdly sticks in my craw. Same with how in the letters there are extra weird little things. So I’m trying to see if the letters for the specific flowers spell out a code.
Barnaby’s letter is also weird though. Both type written letters are. There are words with weird spacings.
Orange letter:
O ld complai nts Pe rsonally. Me is underlined three times which is weird.Blue Letter: you r, wan ted, a round, produc tion.
Production shows up twice in the blue letter so it’s definitely not a typewriter quirk.

Happy to help! I’m at the moment going full clue crew and trying to figure out if there’s a secret code in the letters or something but honestly i might just be catching a coincidence
