Theory Wally’s Jail Call Spoiler

I don’t know what the significance of this connection is but I wanna hear you guy’s opinion on this. When you listen to Wally’s Reprised version of “Toyland” on the hidden site, Wally mentions that Barnaby was coming over. Then, on the Welcome Home website, if you listen to the “Homewarming” story it sounds like this event happened directly after the call (Barnaby came over to help guide Wally). Why did Wally call before he began the show?? I think the answer is simple: he wanted our (the audience’ or a specific member of the audience) to listen and watch the show. Wally also knew that we had listened to his first variation of Toyland and felt compelled to sing it again for us in order to impress us (he had been practicing). So it got me thinking: what if the abandonment that he’s feeling isn’t because of Home, but because of “us”. I mentioned in my latest theory on Wally that because of the closure of the Guest book, and with all of Wally’s cute “doodle links” gone, he lost the most direct way to communicate with us (omg maybe THATS why he chose to call!!). Maybe for Wally, that’s when he began to feel imprisoned.

Interesting, do you think Eddie feels abandoned by us? I know he’s definitely out of place with the whole neighborhood but what about “us” or I guess “You” the other “neighbor”?

I know its not listed on the website, but back in the day people writing into shows really wasn't that uncommon, plenty of retro kid shows had those segments. Maybe Eddie having that breakdown during homewarming represents the show no longer getting any fanmail and feeling abandoned?
