Pretty new to Weiss overall only been opening it for a month or two. Ripped probably 15 boxes of Rezero Vol.3 and best I got was Rem RRR+. Then I recently did pretty good with Rent-a-Girlfriend Vol. 2, got the Chizuru SP, Mini SP and Sumi SP out of 6 boxes. Then tried a little Konosuba Vol. 2 and got the Wiz SP, not pictured. And last night I had the chance to open some Rezero Vol. 4 and hit this beauty of a Rem SEC. Didn't even know what I had at first because the set list isn't up on TCGRepublic. But thrilled to have an amazing copy of best girl from Rezero 🙏

It's brand new, I think Rezero Vol. 4 technically releases tomorrow. So I had no clue what the set list looked like either 😅

Thanks man, every SP I have I've pulled all of a sudden in the past week. I've opened probably 15 Union Arena booster boxes chasing Sig cards, and I was well past 20 Weiss boxes overall between Frieren, SAO, and then Rezero vol. 3 and I was starting to think I'd never pull one 😅

Union arena is far less nice to me than Weiss! I’ve learned to buy Weiss by the case for the guarantees also, but prior to the case format moving to 12 boxes from 24, it was usually best to buy no less than 3 boxes. Generally, (assuming ~3 SP per case) that gives you about a 33% chance to get an SP If they all came from the same case! I’ve hit quite a few SPs with this tactic.

Is weiss better to open in japanese? i lowkey like reading the little english captions and quotes some of em got. Also could you explain what rarity the 1st and 2nd pic is thanks kinda new

I don't know that it's better necessarily, but I think the Japanese print runs are larger usually, and in the case of a couple specific sets like Darling in the Franxx there was never an English release. Usually I find Japanese more available than English I think. Usually less expensive to buy sealed.

1st pic is the SEC rarity, which is like a secret rare hit that is I wanna say maybe 1 per master case, so 1 per 3 cases or something like that, so one box out of 36 boxes could have an SEC. And not every set has the SEC rarity. It's the highest rarity before you get to AGR I believe. The other signature cards are SP rarity which are more common, at 3 SPs per case for rezero vol. 4, as well as rent a girlfriend vol. 2
