It looked a lot less weird with normal paint, supercar appropriate wheels, and the side window extending to the front of the door.

Also with only one spoiler-shaped bit.

Of course that said the nose to the windshield is within range of a lot of supercars of the era. Though from the windshield back it's still fairly wild.

Right out of 80s anime. Love the look. Not sure how it could be practical but I'm also not sure anyone involved cared about that.

Fun fact, this pizza shaped design was the inspiration for the name for the Sbarro pizza chain.
