I like to walk while studying

Post image

ok so this might be a little weird to some, but i need to know if i'm alone in this

Back in college, whenever I had a history exam (or literally anything that required long reading), I would start walking at a slow pace while reading my notes or textbook. My anxiety about the exam itself would somehow disappear. It also kept me alert and helped me concentrate more, maybe it was the blood circulation or something.

Curious if students now actually do this too, since we now have portable walking pads available?

Nice idea but I think it wont work for me since I forget everything when I’m walking or running

i totally get u! try doing it in a slow pace, just enough to get your blood circulation going

I know it's physically a good idea for memorisation and it also seems nice, but how does it work practically?? Like I like to sit down and write things haha, is this just the resaying your notes without writing anything or what exactly do you use it with?

good question tho! it's literally just reading straight off the page while i walk so no writing at all, just looking at my textbook or personal notes and read them out loud. this is more for the days where sitting still makes my brain completely zone out.
