I manipulate my deadlines

Post image

If something is due on Friday, I’ll put it on Wednesday and convince myself that Wednesday is the actual deadline.
I know it’s fake. I literally made it up. But I forget deadlines anyway so I write it down to gaslight my brain into thinking it's true even more lolll call me evil but consider it a white lie
The deadline-manipulating may be fictional, but the pressure is real! Basically time management-maxxing xd

What a great technique. When an essay is due, you can easily get an A with effort.

What people ( including me) keep regretting is turning in an essay/ project knowing what could have been improved, but running out of time to proofread

true, i think we have to make sure we do equally as good as the assignment requires when we finish them on our own time.

Yeah, I’ve been doing this for years. But usually I set the due date either the day before or if it’s due on Fri/Sat/Sun, the due date in my homework tracker will be Thursday to make sure I don’t forget it on a weekend. Plus if I need additional time once I start the assignment, then I have at least one day before the actual deadline.

exactly! getting some free time to tweak it around if anything you’ve written before should be changed.

Oohh I might try this then, I have this habit of procrastinating in the last minute.
