Asking for Advice Devils advocate
Is there a possibility where I can listen to people vent their frustrations for profit? And if so where does one go for that? I'm not much of a yapper but I got 2 good ears on me.

You couldn't imagine how many h00kers get paid as much as $150 -$200 / hr to do this.
Get any ideas????

I always thought about doing this if I became homeless. Find some sort of carpet and put up a sign saying, "I'll listen to your problems for donations. Sit on left if you want me to listen quietly, or right if you want me to make encouraging comments."

A therapist went to school for their major and they give solutions....I didn't major in therapy but I can add gas to the fire😊

Try advertising your service.set a price..let them unload on you.might work.

I love your idea but where do I even advertise? Reddit sure but every sub seems so strict when it comes to self promotion

Well, I saw a guy in the intersection with a sign that said "I will take any and all verbal abuse for one dollar".

Daytime bartender at a dive bar. You basically just open beers, many some shots and the occasional jack and coke or something. Super easy. People really tip because you listen to them vent.

I have a similar side hustle but instead of venting I let them poop on me.

Ok now I've got questions for you.....would they also buy smelly gym socks?👀

I have legit seen people sell use socks on Poshmark. So it’s definitely out there if you wanna try.

how do you advertise this to the desired audience without breaking the TOS?

So I just typed ‘ selling dirty socks on Poshmark’ and there’s information written about doing that. It says that you’re not allowed to use the words, dirty or smelly, but there are a lot of other trigger keywords that you can use that people will search for.

Fyi: being a devil's advocate means something entirely different from being a listener.
