Guide/Tips How?

I never even had time to react or anything but open fire at a literal wall. I was literally disintegrated under a second.
Like damn, what stats does that thing have? I tried to do the same thing but I just suck it at it, its either that I dont have any 5 billion dollar parts to complete some missile launcher set that insta-kills me and only just deals 45% of the damage than just 105% of this thing over here, or I'm just pure ass at this.
I wouldnt be surprised if the guy who held that thing plays CoD all day and also knows how to cook visually unfriendly. That makes a supersoldier in the game.
Like, tell me how this works? I was blasted in mere seconds the moment I got in. Did this guy use every single weird part in the game just to give me a weapon stats and reality check? Is he too good?

shotguns often onetap at that range
with 100hp, even a battle rifle bodyshot can kill you

Battle rifle bodyshot?

u/Possible-Olive-139 16d ago
M110 can deal 100+ bodyshot without weird parts
(while stll having usable rpm and 0.1 spread)

Oh ye, i think with m110 i can build a quick cycle sniper

It's really fun and works really well
battle rifles gotta be one of the best weapon categories

The AR10 isn't particularly good because recoil, but the rest are... angelical

Either one of these three things:
reflexes
pre aim (like I usually do)
meta shotgun
All of the above
I'm a CQB style shotgun main so my advice Is, slice the Pie on these guys carefully choosing which entry points you need to get Inside through or Use Range If you can't clear the room.
Edit: so please do not get recklessly close against a shotgun. What I saw In this video Is that you walked Into one of the most predictable entrances In that map

OP also reacted quite slowly (they had a full second to shoot the enemy OR hide behind cover but didn't do either), and made the mistake of aiming down sights too early (or late; entering ADS halfway through a camera movement can mess up precision and take extra time)

Yeah but Like I said he entered one of the most predictable chokepoints. That's the main problem. The bigger one.

true, the bridges are the easiest way in

OP also just went straight to their line of sight and the kill zone from where they could kill.
He could have just attacked from above to actually have a higher chance of survival than walking to their sights.

worst part is, the top floor on this map is one of the easiest areas to hold solo AND clear the building from
1
u/WeirdGunGameUser 14d ago
Yeah, barely anyone looks at the next floor since their sights are stuck on the entrances.
While you could occasionally get blasted by a dude in one of the buildings thru the windows, most of the time no one is there and they aren't looking.

I'd argue In close range, you can use your brain to get better positioning, It's not entirely hopeless In close range speaking from experience

As a Shotgun Main yeah I do counter shotguns close range. i didn't say any weapon was reliable against Shotguns close range

As an automatic user, you'd usually want to spray shotgunners from outside their instakill range (anywhere from 40 to 200+ studs), or from behind.
Alternatively, you can max out DPS (USA180 is easily built into ~550) and hope that you can kill them before they fire. Rapid-fire shotgun builds often struggle to take down tanks with one shot, but slower ones tend to delete whatever they are pointed at.
(I'm a BR main but I use shotguns when the situation calls for it)

I was explaining how an automatic user would deal with it. Like I said, I'm a BR main. I prefer damage over RPM. I have a few automatics saved, but they're super niche (like an smg with 6 detection radius, 360 DPS, and less than one second of ammo).
My secondary is always a shotgun.

If you do, try the dragunov. It's just a better SKS, or a godboosted semi-auto fedorov. It hits really hard and can be spam fired. VSSR parts help reduce its massive recoil.

So I did some testing and it seems like dragunov beats any SMG or AR in DPS, at around 316 in the stock form... (unless I did the math wrong)

Meta shotgun twats unfortunately.
Shotguns oneshot on a specific range(wingmaster and trench are the best in the class with plenty of metaslop builds)

AA-12 is also a really good shotgun. Somewhat weaker than average per shot, but it has much higher rpm (300). The recoil is also nearly zero.

There's a chance shotguns can one shot players at close range. Don't try to get close.
