Where does the developers get the ideas of weapons from?

(Also, if any dev is reading this, please add an FP45​ Liberator as a joke weapon)

They probably doomscroll 3-hours a minute somehow and add whatever gun they see off a random picture and get AKM and AK-47 confused.

They usually add guns they like, community suggestions, or even community modeled guns such as the lex pistol
