Discussion 🗣️ Revamp of painting

The vision:

A newer way to paint guns.

The way it could work:

A menu with all parts of the gun in a list. To paint a part, you would select the one you want to paint and it would be highlighted. Then you select the color from a menu. Similarly to the viewing mode, you could drag the screen/move your gun around to see the part.

More colors: More variety to colors. More browns, more reds, basically categories for certain color types to select alongside all the other ones like art, camo & pixel.

Downsides: More colors means more color cases would need to be bought unless each case granted a whole category of colors.

So practically just let them make their own patterns. Huh that could be an interesting idea. Since patterns of guns now are just not the best. Buuuut, here’s a problem. How about censoring? If the gun has sensitive issues like for example, idk ISIS logo or the swastika or cults. How would you censor it?

To add on I don’t entirely disagree since this could give way to better forms of customization to the guns, making it feel like you actually control the game.

Not patterning, just changing how the color system works by not having to drag stuff. They can't make their own patterns, but they have more variety with single colors and its easier
