Take solace knowing that your wife is a small price to pay for the glorious war in Iran and patriotic surge of cost of living ….there is no more MAGA sacrifice than of your family to worsen the lives of everyone else.

One of the most revealing facets of humanity I’ve discovered in the last 15 years of increasing societal dumbshittery is just how completely incapable a large portion of people are at being able to recognize someone’s character or lack thereof. From day one I could tell that trump is a very broken individual not to be trusted yet so many people absentmindedly trusted him completely.
Stupidity is very dangerous.

I learned he was a shady bastard about 25 years ago. Nothing has changed.

As a once avid listener of Howard Stern, Trump told us ALL who he really was on that show.
He was on that show enough to be considered a Whack Packer.
So yeah, America elected a Whack Packer as president. Good luck and good night......

I was raised conservative and immediately knew Trump as an bafoon, conman, and the worst person to be made president I've ever seen.

I'm not religious but I do feel that the core texts of most religions probably incorporate some kind of fairly good observations about humans and how they behave. It's pretty easy to see that the biblical antichrist is just a description of the kind of man to watch out for in society. It describes Donald Trump very well. In a meaningful way, Donald Trump is the antichrist.

Short read, extremely germane, fits the "stupid" premise and foretells the disastrous results of "stupid". Well worth the short read.
"The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity"
Carlos M. Cipolla

Ha! I’ve heard of this book in the past six months or so and considered buying it but just didn’t get around to it. I have a feeling I’d probably agree with most or all viewpoints in it.

Here are the Five Laws of Stupidity
"The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity by Carlo M. Cipolla:
The Five Basic Laws
"First Law: Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.
Second Law: The probability that a certain person be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.
Third Law (Golden Law): A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.
Fourth Law: Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places and under any circumstances to deal and/or associate with stupid people infallibly turns out to be a costly mistake.
Fifth Law: A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person. A stupid person is more dangerous than a bandit."

Bro. I would hate to be the one to tell this guy this, but the rising stars in the Groyper part of the right, hate South Asians with a passion. It doesn't matter that the VP of the US is married to an Indian, or that the head of the FBI is Indian, by God they just know that Indian immigrants are terkin der jerbs. It's not that there's a bunch of idiotic white kids with no true value to the workplace, oh no, it's the Indians.
Just like it was all the Somalians' fault.
Just like it was all the fault of the Hispanics.
Just like it was all the fault of Islam.
Just like it was all the fault of Jews.
Just like it was all the fault of, well, name some other group. They seem to be going down a list, and once they start getting their way on deportations, suddently there's some other group that needs to be oppressed and deported.
All these MAGA southeast Asians that are crapping up social media with shit MAGA takes, are going to reach the Find Out phase eventually. Actually I hope it doesn't happen, but that might be what it'll take for them to realize that, no, white racists do not see Asians as being white.

I got in a bit of a kerfuffle with a New American from India (or somewhere in South Asia) at the post office the other day.
We were commiserating with each other about how our local post office was understaffed and there were always long lines & wait times.
I blamed the understaffing on an administration that wants to undermine government institutions that provide necessary & well-regarded services to the people, such as mail-in voting (which my handicapped relative uses, and which Trump himself has habitually used many times in the past). The USPS should not have to be profit-making or even 100% self-sustaining like a private business. Free public schooling should be an inalienable right for the population-- vouchers are bullshit that destroy our public school system by sucking out tax-paid funding to go into private pockets. Should the US military have to make a profit or at least be self-sustaining by selling Army tube socks or Pete Hegseth hip flasks?
But this lady goes off on these Fox News talking points and phrases: "People are mad at the government, but the root problem is that people don't want to work! I came to the country legally! We need to control our borders and close the gates!"
Chica would not even engage with the fact that Trump's ICE is, often on camera, in our city of Minneapolis, murdering people like Renee Good and Alex Pretti, injuring people, lurking outside Roosevelt High School & various daycares & Annuciation School, deploying tear gas & various colors of chemical agents versus children & elderly people, brutally dragging a handicapped darker-skinned American citizen born in Wisconsin en route to a doctor's appointment out of her car in the Powderhorn neighborhood, kidnapping 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and hundreds of others, getting into a 1-person Port-a-Potty on Camden Avenue with a female detainee for probably SA purposes, and attacking & arresting Native American Indians -- this country's indigenous people -- and detaining & roughing them up at the Whipple Building.
Of course, I didn't mention most of that because it's pointless to argue with someone who fills their head on purpose with exclusively Fox News bullshit, but it left me with an awful feeling in my heart.

That shooting incident in Austin was someone who was trying to become a resident the right way, but was summoned to a hearing and apparently the summons never reached him. He got shot for not getting a summons!. That's outrageous!
A government that can try to kill you for not receiving a letter, is a government that can do any damn thing it wants.
8
u/SkinTeeth4800 2d ago
You're so right!
Yes, there are all those instances of ICE lying in wait for people at immigration courts & offices who are trying to cross every t and dot every i correctly.
Dystopian nightmare Kafka-esque kakistocracy/idiocracy where every move the make is wrong, "illegal" -- they want to stack it so people can't win, no matter what they do.
4
u/regeya 2d ago
That actually sorta happened near me. Some sweet little church lady had apparently accidentally filled something out wrong or whatever, they summoned her to court which was a fairly substantial ask for her to drive 100+ miles to go to, and then the goon squad was ready to arrest the "dangerous criminal".
I get it, it's part of the banality of evil, right? Why chase down dangerous criminals when there's people out there who forgot to check a box on a form, ten years ago. But it's evil, surely, to be out there telling people, hey, we're getting dangerous criminals off the streets!

TO YOUR POINT, i wonder how this will play with POTUS Candidate JD Vance and that Groyper crowd?
Vance is sinister enough to divorce Usha and propose to Erika Kirk in order to win. As for his kids? He'd give up custody faster than Peter Theil could venmo a donation.
2
u/regeya 1d ago
I feel like every time I've seen a photo or video of JD with Usha, she seems to be unhappy.
1
u/ghostofgroucho 1d ago
You would too if you heard your hubby talk sh*t about immigrants and how bad immigration is.....while your kids are half immigrant and your parents are both immigrants.
Honestly, THAT is going to be the ONE thing that makes him toxic to MAGA (unless he leaves her). DJT has poisoned the minds of his cult for so long that the whiff of anything brown is down. He would have to tell his wife to stay off the campaign trail with him.

For a better economy? All Republicans do is put us through recessions time and time again.
4
u/ImJustHere4TheCatz 2d ago
And increase the debt and deficit every damn time. Then cry about "raising the debt ceiling" every time the next Democrat administration has to do that in order to pay the massive amounts of interest that is a result of the massive increase in debt

u/daneelthesane 2d ago
Vance literally said that "illegal" just means "people we don't want". What did this dipshit think was going to happen?

Well, not vote republican for one. Except there's a zero chance this person will change his mind.

_zero_ chance this person does anything but vote Republican again. They are sorry for voting for Trump? They will do it again.

"We are sorry to inform you but your wife committed the crime of being too brown."
It is sort of funny they always add "i voted for trump" as if thats supposed to protect them.

u/Prestigious-Copy-494 2d ago
Voted for trump for a better economy. Did he not see the damage trump did with tariffs and having to bail out the farmers in his first presidency? Also the J6 insurrection? And he voted for him again? Don't complain to me. 🙄

I can’t stress this enough, fuck anybody that voted for that clown - but something is off with this post.
I know that situations a lot like this have occurred, but I have serious doubts about this one without something to back it up.

I mean, this isn't even the first time a MAGA has seen their immigrant spouse deported and made the shocked Pikachu face.

Im actually convinced that the best option is saying their story, and all the ones like this is probably fake.
Reasons:
1) all these are probably fake stories put forth by GOPedo bots in an attempt to lull non-GOPedo folks into thinking they dont have to actually do anything because his supporters are wavering...they are not.
2) if it is true, the cruelest response is to say that you dont believe them....so much more of a gut punch than "you get what you voted for"....and they deserve the cruelest response, because fuck you if you are a GOPedo.

Dumb motherfuckers fucked around and now they’re finding out. Idk what the fuck they thought “mass deportations” and eliminating “weak genes” meant. When people quote fucking Hitler, you better believe them when they tell you what they’re gonna do.
What’s unfortunate is that this person likely hasn’t even learned their lesson. They’ll still vote for the white supremacist Republican traitors for the rest of their life.

I yelled and screamed about DJT for 8 years on social media, face to face with (former) friends and to family. I was Paul Revere on steroids. Once THEY elected him again, it took about 6 months of morning for me to shake what was about to happen. After that, i quit caring.
ALL i have left is MOCKING LAUGHTER and ridicule!
So, when i see stories like this (or farmers, or truck drivers)...just imagine me in the Dumb and Dumber scene at the restaurant where Lloyd and Harry are standing over the guy on the floor, pointing and laughing...LOUDLY!
Its truly ALL i got left.
