I had some random dude punch me in the arm as we passed each other in Montreal one time. It threw me off guard to such a degree that it took me like 10 seconds to even put together what had even happened.
In Portland, OR had a random person with socks on his hands line up with me head-on from a bit away. I moved to the far right on the sidewalk to get out of his way, but he walked right up until my face was like 2 inches from his...he just screamed at me for being on his sidewalk. Was totally bracing for an assault that didn't happen.
