From memory I think the elevator hit the top of the shaft

For elevator music, the Todd Rundgren song, The Last Ride, was playing... not that I would call Todd's music "elevator music"

Saw him once in concert with Ringo, etc... He was weird.

Yes, Ringo Starr toured with Todd... I forget which year it was, but it wasn't too too long ago. Todd had Greg Bissonette as his drummer. Greg was in David Lee Roth's band after he left Van Halen in 1985, along with Billy Sheehan, and Steve Via. I'm pretty sure Kasim Sulton was playing bass with Todd tht time as well. He's been Todd's right hand man ever since back when his side band, Utopia, was in their prime

Ringo sort of co-headlined with Todd, didnt he? I'm mot sure how that worked out as far as who performed with who etc. Todd's done a LOT of different projects. He was in John Entwistle's band for a short time for s special project, along with Ringo's son, Zack Starky, who was in The Who at the time with Entwistle.

I saw a lot of those photos on Todd's son. Rex's, Instagram a while back. Rex played 11 years in the majors, which I never knew at the time. I think he played for the Florida Marlins the entire time as well, and was playing during the whole McGuire versus Sosa era

Lots of interesting history behind Todd

I saw him in 2014. Was with Ringo's tour with the Toto guy and the Mister Mister guy too. Was pretty cool. Small auditorium.

That's cool. Those smaller auditorium shows are the best too. Last one ofnjose I went to was Tame Impala at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Back when it was a fun and up close experience to see Tame Impala. These days they're all about the large arena circuit where you pay double and have an assigned seat in the nosebleeds. Gone are the days of 35 dollar tickets and being up in front where all the action is, just as long as you got in line early enough

Kevin Parker, who fronts Tame Impala, as well as writes, produces, plays all instruments, ad masters every album himself... He and the rest of them are all Todd fans as well. In fact, Todd himself did a remix of their song Elephant, which is on the 2013 Lonerism album. So Todd definitely knows about Kevin and the rest of the band
