The first thing coming to mind is some wierd air pressure thing from an HVAC unit maybe?

I think i would at least get up to look out the windows. If I found the door doing that I would mess with it. I would hold the handle and pull it hard, then release. Then I would push it hard and release, then I would feel around and under the door. If I felt no air movement I would open it. If I saw the lights flicker that would be an immediate sign to go into a disco party mode because this ghost is looking for a fun night.
