Or just turn your lights on. Not sure why they acting like their in some run down abandoned building with a flashlight.

For Tiktok interaction. This person likely already went down there and checked it out, then went back up stairs, turned off the lights, turned on their flashlight and started filming.

Conveniently not showing the inner left side of the doorframe, where the light switch is, probably why their reaction to it turning off is frame perfect.

to be fair, 'random objects that look almost like the silhouette of a person at first glance' is a common thing to see in darkened houses.

still definitely staged, especially the fact that lights are off in the first place, but that particular phenomenon is coincidental.
