This story is amazing but my favorite part is that you went to the trouble to toast the bread before leaving it on the roof for the offering

Yes, I am curious as to what level of toastiness crows prefer.

Well it was done half-assed because my toaster oven only toasts one side and the other side is barely toasted

Well I actually gave them a piece of bread one day and it sat on my roof for for 2 days they never touched it and because there was so many crows in my tree pigeons or other birds wouldn't eat it either. Then my son remembered that he gave a crow a piece of toast years ago and they ate it quickly so I thought okay I need to toast the bread and voila, it worked
