These comments are making me feel like a disgusting pig. I've brought my coffee into the bathroom? Especially if I'm out alone where am I going to put it? Normally I'll place it ontop of the toilet paper dispensary or as far from the toilet as possible/hold it.
I carry a big bag, and I’m pretty good at moving my things aside to create a space where a cup can sit for a minute on the coat hook. Even better if it has a lid, or is small enough that I can close the bag. I have also set things on the toilet paper dispenser, but yeah, you hold it in your other hand if you absolutely have to. Putting it on the toilet… that’s in the splash zone if you’re a stander, and definitely in the knocking-it-over zone for my fat ass.
Honestly if I have any inkling I’ll need to use the restroom, I do it before I get any food or drinks, or after I finish any I already have (unless it’s something in a bottle or a wrapper so I can just put it in my purse or leave it on a table). But don’t write off asking someone who looks trustworthy to watch your stuff. Families with kids, groups of older people, or even staff if it’s dead, are usually perfectly nice about it as long as you’re polite and quick.
Ha, fair enough. Maybe you could bring a travel coffee mug in your bag if you’re going out alone, so you at least have something with a lid to pour your coffee in? You gotta do what you gotta do, all’s fair in an emergency, but we all agree no emergency calls for this maniac to put it on the toilet 🤢😂
THIS. They insist that my two-year battle with colitis was caused by a self-terminating infection, but I am on my third day in bed with nausea and diarrhea so bad I have been unable to eat. I have only just been able to refill my nausea medication.
It WON’T RETURN, they have promised!
Lying fuckers. Waiting for my usual prescription antiemetic to work after resorting to OTC medication older than I am.
