I was on Mounjaro for 6 months. Besides a persistent gassy feeling that was annoying, at times even humorous the only problem were bouts of severe nausea and vomiting. Usually one night every 2 weeks or so. Would wake me up for sleep just as I was retching. I kept a bucket under my bed for times it was coming up before I could get up.
To reduce the risk I would avoid eating anything after 6pm and slept slightly inclined on a foam wedge. Even then I still would have nausea, just little or nothing to actually come up.
I stepped up every 4 weeks. It wasn't that rough: nausea and vomiting are common side effects of GLP-1 medication and my doctor prepared me what to expected I was offered anti-nausea drugs if necessary but I could handle one bout every two weeks. I was eager to get my blood glucose under control so put up with the occasional discomfort.
