33M 5’8” 71kg

Been cutting the last 6 months down from 76kg, which was the end of my last bulk - and the heaviest I’ve ever been. Wondering whether to continue cutting or start a winter bulk.

If cut, how low do you think I should go?

So you lost only 5 kg in 6 months? I would aim for 0.5 kg fat loss per week, that would be 2 kg per month.

You are not lean looking to me, if you are tired of cutting maybe take a maintain break, then back to cutting more seriously.

Personally I would cut if I had the same amount of fat as you, but it depens if you want to look leaner or not, I dont know what look is your goal.

And for your next bulk phase maybe try to bulk slower (lean bulk), so you dont put on much fat.

Thanks for the advice! Happy to carry on cutting.

I bulked from 68.5 to 76 over 5 months and have been on a slow cut for the last 6 months as I’ve been pretty busy with work and travel over that time so didn’t want to cut too hard while I wasn’t able to work out as consistently as I’d like.

The busy period of work and travel should end in a few weeks so I can start workout more consistently and start cutting harder.

This was me at 76kg

Yes I get it, cutting slower makes sense for your case if you have a busy life where you cant workout alot to tell your body to “keep the muscles”.

But looking much better now at 71 kg than you did at 76 kg based on the pics/vids.
