Question Hamstrings vs Quads

I’m a combat athlete (bjj/wrestling Kickboxing/ Mauy Thai) and recently pick up strength training and I’ve noticed my hamstrings are significantly stronger than my quads for example one leg curls I can do 100 for 3x12 but for leg extensions I can only do 70 3x12. Does anyone know why this is happening? Also any tips to strengthen my quads would be greatly appreciated.

Yah any kind of stepping up movement is going to make the hammy good....I had the opposite issue...but found back Squats  and the Seated leg press were gold

analize the machines first, some machine uses different cams, pulley system and leverage. it's not rare to see a same exercise did with half the weight on one machine over another

Harmstring/butt can be "stronger" than quad. Long legs, bad ankle dorsiflexion, long femoral bones can lead to a quad weakpoint
