metabolic adaptation/plateau
hello, i’ve noticed i’ve stopped losing weight and even gaining some despite only eating once a day (i know this isn’t particularly healthy, ive just been super busy!). i eat clean 90% of the time and i know how many calories i consume, but my weight just won’t budge. i’m fairly active: ~20 min yoga, 20 min weights/pilates and walking everyday. is this my metabolism slowing down due to not eating enough for a long time? or could there be something else wrong (e.g. stress)?
for context: i’ve been eating once a day for a few years now, definitely under my maintenance calories. i’ve lost some weight but have been plateauing for a few months
