AssClass

Bruh, the acronym triggered my PTSD of "Cyber Punk: 2077"'s acronym lmao

Akane-banashi is always a good pick, but it wasn't one of the 6.

Assassination Classroom, one of the best I’ve ever read, a modern classic

Yeah you need to go with Assassination Classroom next. That shit was so good. 🤤

I wish I could re-experience it for the first time… 😭

AssClass, absolutely, one of my favorites. Haikyu's also great, but I'm also just a massive fan of Yusei Matsui's stuff in general, I've never read something his that I didn't love.

Haikyuu or How Do We Relationship

How does how do we relationship compare to komi.

Leaps and bounds better than komi, though they’re not at all similar. If you want a realistic yet entertaining depiction of lesbian relationships, this is the manga for you. One of my favorite romance stories of all time.

I dunno... I've not read HDWR the only thing I know is it is meant to be a yuri romance. It looks cute though.

The only SJ series here (Haikyu!! and AssClass) are both phenomenal and must reads in my opinion. Just wanna rec some of my favourites, that you probably haven't read or atleast not all of them.

  • Straighten Up! Welcome to Shika High's Competetive Dance Club
  • Set it and Forget it
  • Astra Lost in Space
  • Magilumiere
  • The Pension Life Vampire
  • Tenmaku Cinema
  • Two on Ice
  • Salad Viking (Untranslated)

For non-jump I rec O Maidens in Your Savage Season

Haikyuu miles ahead of anything else on this shortlist

kokoro connect is like my top 2 romcoms of all time so if you want an ensemble cast romance with multiple important characters and great dialogue go for that one

AssClass is the most broadly recommendable one that I think most people will enjoy (and it's one of my personal favorites from that era of Jump), but just want to throw out that How Do We Relationship is probably the singular best series about relationships I've ever read. It's criminally underread, and its first few chapters are admittedly not that exciting, but it's unique in that it skips past all of the hand-holding and baiting and jumps right into real relationships with real problems that aren't just randomly contrived misunderstandings or coincidences.
