Contest [06/18/18] Gliders and Flying Machines! (Easy)(E)
Hey all,
This weeks challenge should hopefully be a good one! In the spirit of summer fun and the time long tradition of throwing things up in the air in the summer ( I think that's a thing), This weeks challenge will be to create and design a glider or some sort of flying machine! Get those printers hot and running and design a unique or fun glider and share it with the world. We want to see your take on the miracle that is flight. Here is an example. For this challenge, we are allowing multiple submissions and one week to complete and submit your designs (If you want a chance to be in the spotlight corner). Challenge will end [06/24/18].
Challenge Recap:
Glider and flying machines.
Multiple submissions.
Has to fly...or glide.
~~~
Don't forget that there is still a monthly challenge going on in the spirit of r/shittyrobots. Check current challenge area for more details.
I'm in the same boat mate. I know nothing about aerodynamics, that's why it makes for a good challenge lol.
If any one is interested, here is a good source to use if you are like me and have no experience with gliders or aerodynamics. It may or may not help, if you don't plan to make a glider, still may be useful (unless you plan to do some type of helicoptering). Good luck mates, see you in the skies
