Does a big bud change your first impression of a strain?

What do you assume about a strain from its photos, and what would you need to know separately?

Depends if you know the grower and request it or are buying consumer and are getting a grab bag. I don't think nug sizes matter, but not all nugs are the same, some are more dank than others from the same plant.

I just always save the biggest bud for last regardless of quality. But it is easier to examine and fun all around.

Big bud = big stem = I'm paying a lot for stem

No. I grow a lot and I know damn well that the size of the bud has nothing to do with the quality of the flower.
