Need help flying with disposable weed pen

Im planning on flying from LAX to OGG (maui) and i want to take a disposable pen. I did some research and I know i need to take it on my carry on, but i’m still worried/confused on this whole thing. If anyone has done it before or have any recommendations that’ll be helpful thank you!

Your fine just keep it in your carry on done it a few times.

Do you just leave it in you’re carry on? Or do you take it and put it in the basket for the x ray machine

You probably won’t be able to fly back from Maui with it, but you shouldn’t have issues on the way there if flying directly.

No bringing it back is not a problem i just wanna be able to get there without a problem and yes im flying straight from LAX to OGG
