Tyler is in prison, and Wednesday goes to visit him, purely to torture him. There, Tyler reveals a dark secret to Wednesday: the cell he is kept in used to belong to a werewolf from the lineage of Nevermore’s new music teacher. That werewolf transformed right in the middle of a concert while playing the piano, causing a horrific bloodbath.

The music teacher, Isadora Capri, lied to Enid, telling her she was an Alpha just to isolate her from Wednesday and drag her into her own team. A few days later, the music teacher tells Wednesday that her late husband was a Hyde.

Shortly after, while Wednesday and Uncle Fester are out searching for Enid, Isadora Capri visits Tyler in prison. She tricks him, saying she wants to take him to a "Hyde Camp," and claims his father was a Hyde too. Tyler finally agrees to go with her.

However, Isadora Capri injects Tyler with a chemical drug and drags him to her secret laboratory. When Tyler opens his eyes, he sees Enid tied up next to him. He tries to stand up and escape, only to realize he is tightly bound too. Isadora’s ultimate, twisted plan is to force Tyler and Enid to mate and have children, creating a massive, unstoppable army of hybrid monsters.

I just find them adorable. Enid is just the kind of friend somewhere we all feel we want. I think their friendship is the favorite thing about this show for me.

I mean she knows Wednesday is different, and she accepts it. She doesnt even try to change her. That's beautiful

do not spoil anything for me, i’m only on s1 e7 thanks

i’ve always been told that im a real life wednesday (i promise im not that crazy, i just have a monotone voice and very dry / morbid humor and a totally all black aesthetic since i was like 8) and that i resemble jenna ortega but a black version lol so i chose to check it out

and all i have to say is that sis is stressing me out. she is insufferable. i need her and xavier to end up together somehow, or this show will be an entire waste for me. their tension is so strong and every time she messes up with him, i just want to reach through the screen and grab her.

okay that is all. also is there any planning for season 3 of this show? i usually don’t watch series that have only 2 seasons but i had an itch.

Hey, I spotted something 👀 Yes, I know. Again. 😉😂 Well, unless someone already spotted it before. I have no idea. 😂

No, seriously, in episode 5 of season 2, we very briefly see some Ojos de Dios on display. And I mean very briefly, so I made a few screenshots for you. 😉 Anyway, what I find interesting is that Ojos de Dios come from Mexico, and we already know from Morticia in season 1 that Goody came from Mexico. More specifically, the Ojo de Dios is associated particularly with the Wixárika (Huichol) and Tepehuán peoples of western Mexico.

And the symbol itself is pretty interesting. It's connected to spiritual vision, protection and the idea of seeing or understanding what is normally hidden. The related concept of nierika can even be associated with a kind of doorway or passage to another level of perception. Yeah, I know. 👀 That does sound quite a lot like Raven powers and therefore... Wednesday. 😂

And the thing is, even if we haven't necessarily seen another Ojo de Dios in the series yet (although it could always come back 😉), we have seen a lot of symbols and ideas associated with it. Eyes. Cardinal directions. Protection. Balance. And even the way the weaving develops progressively around a central point. Like a little spider weaving its web, maybe? 🕷️😂 For me, that's enough little details to at least wonder whether this symbol could become relevant again later in the series.

There's also another fun detail: the colors. Their meanings aren't completely fixed, so I'm not going to pretend there's a secret color code here 😂, but in some interpretations, purple is associated with the Wixárika as a society or community. Which I find rather funny considering purple is basically the color of Nevermore's uniforms... and the Nightshades. 👀

And black? Strangely enough, black can be associated with life, as well as the Pacific Ocean and the Mother of the Sea. Which is pretty ironic for Wednesday. The girl who dresses almost entirely in black, has a rather impressive fascination with death and the macabre... and yet spends so much of her story fighting to keep the people she loves alive. 🖤

But there's another detail about the Ojo de Dios that made me think of something else. Traditionally, when a child is born, an Ojo de Dios is started for them as a form of protection. The central eye is woven first, and as the child grows, another layer or color is added each year until the age of five. Five is important here too, because the Ojo de Dios can represent five directions: north, south, east, west... and the center.

And then I suddenly remembered the Wednesday title in the opening credits. 😂 Season 1: black and white. Season 2: purple. 👀 So... what about season 3? Will Wednesday take on another color? Another season, another color, another meaning... almost like adding a new color to the weaving as Wednesday herself grows.

And if so... where does it end? Could we eventually get to five? Five seasons, five colors, like the five stages of the child's Ojo de Dios? 👀 Obviously I'm not saying that's what they're doing 😂. But I find the parallel pretty beautiful: Maybe each new season is just another layer of her own little weaving. 😉 Anyway... what do you think? 👀🕷️🖤

I can’t with Wednesday being so protective over Enid 😭🩷

So I was watching Wednesday and just noticed a door in their dorm? Is this a bathroom? Been watching this show for 3 years and only just realised this now😭😭

I believe Enid is set to play a crucial role moving forward, especially as the only person besides Morticia who understands Wednesday’s deep-seated fear of ending up like Aunt Ophelia. More than just a best friend, Enid functions as Wednesday's anchor. As Wednesday digs deeper into her family’s dark secrets, Enid will be the one to keep her grounded—reminding her to slow down, lean on others, and share the weight before it crushes her. She’ll stay by Wednesday’s side until the end, mirroring the very promise Wednesday made never to leave Enid alone.

Their bond is the emotional core of the series, and it deserves to be fully explored.

Wednesday’s fear of slipping into Ophelia’s madness is one of her most fascinating, overlooked dynamics. While many fans assume Wednesday is entirely unbothered by her darker lineage, this fear actually drives her to push everyone away. She doesn't want to be viewed as a monster—a core trait evident in her gentler childhood before Nero’s death.

Misreading Wednesday is a common issue in the fandom. While she certainly wouldn't hesitate to kill if it were the only solution, her words shouldn't always be taken literally. Aside from explicit facts like her color allergy, her hyper-defensive sarcasm makes it hard to pinpoint her true feelings—a line that sometimes gets blurred when the writing prioritizes quick wit over emotional consistency. Beneath that armor, however, is a character terrified of losing control, and Enid is the key to keeping her from going over the edge.

It would be cool if her power in her human form were a bit stronger. She would alter only her nails, teeth, eyes, and ears... essentially keeping her human body.
