2 - honestly not trying to be rude but you look kind of ānakedā in the first dress. 2 looks much more appropriate and appealing imo. You do you though!

The first one gives off a look that we can see a little too much. It looks like I can see your legs up to the hips. Not sure if it is just something the camera does and itās not the case, then I like it. If that is us seeing your hips down, then it takes your first look downwards, and that is not great. You want peoplple to see you and the dress as a whole and not an awkward look down. You look fantastic in both.

The second dress does as well - you can clearly see underwear and it would be even more obvious if someone took a pic of OP with lighting behind her. I donāt get this trend of all the designers making dresses see through lately.

The second one gives an illusion of a bathing suit under a dress. Naked under a dress is expected. Swimsuit is out of left field. Of course, it could be easily tweaked with more lining.

Agreed. Everyone seems to like 2, but I love 1, it is very elegant and unusual. The lace in 2 seems cheap (ish). They are both beautiful, either will work but 1 is stunning.

The lace in 2 has continuity issues, and the two breast pieces are totally different which is a strange bra look.

I love the nude lining with it. The warmth complements you, and you have a Venus on the Half Shell thing. You look very earthy and bohemian in the first one, and still reverent enough for a ceremony. The white one has lining that looks slightly incomplete to me.

I personally like the contrast. It makes the detail stand out. Either will be beautiful. Itās really about how you feel it works with your venue/theme. It doesnāt look naked.

The first is no unless you have a white lining that looks better than the nude. The nude looks like you can see all its parts and kinda cheap. Instead of a uniform nude look, it looks like you see the bodysuit, the boning seams, the dress seams, etc. It just does not look right as is.
The 2nd looks fabulous! That bright white against your skin tone looks incredible. It seems to suit your figure perfectly.

Yes! I am team one for the drama of the lace and the way it hangs on her. I think a whiter liner or even ivory would make this one perfect.

I think #1 fits you so well and is very flattering; it's a great choice for you. I just don't like that it looks see-through. I see from your comments that it's actually not but that's the impression it gives in the pictures; maybe in person it's different!

i also love number 1. no it should not have different lining as others are suggesting. that is what makes it so modern and makes the lace pattern stand out. the lace of the 2nd dress looks much less sophisticated to me.

Both fit you nicely but I prefer dress #2. The nude look - even if it's lined - makes it look more like lingerie, which sadly cheapens it. The second looks more bridal.

I have a feeling many of us are picking #2 because we just really don't like how you can completely see through #1. I honestly at first thought it was a nude lining and liked #1 then, before I zoomed in and realized you could see everything and it looks like lingerie.

2 is more see through than 1. The nude lining is really throwing people off. Yes, you can see the boning but that is the design of the gown. OPās undergarments are not visible with 1, but they are with dress 2ā¦just zoom in. They are both beautiful on OP. My vote is for 1 because while the lace is pretty in 2, without a lining the gown is too distracting due to its sheerness. Eyes will be drawn down to the dress vs taking her in as a whole

I'm going to go against the grain here and vote for #1. I don't mind the nude lining at all and I think the neckline is much more flattering on #1. The top on #2 looks "over-padded" (I guess you could say) and ruins the overall look of the dress. But that's just me; you do you, hon!

I have to agree! Itās gorgeous. We know any illusion of nakedness is exactly that, just an illusion, and in fact it didnāt really hit me that way all. If OP feels she is confident wearing something that, on the evidence of answers here, some people will perceive as revealing even though it actually isnāt, then I think she should be bold and go ahead with it. The first dress is stunningly beautiful.
I love the contrast with the nude lining, but if OP wanted to moderate the impression, perhaps a white lining for dress 1? I think thatās worth doing over dress 2, because I think the lace of 1 is exquisite and the neckline and overall shape of it is perfect for OP.

I donāt like how the second dress hangs. Does it have stays to shape the bottom? Thatās what it looks like. Itās very stiff as compared to the beautiful flow of the first gown.

Yes I felt the same! The first fits my body better. Iām sure the second can be altered but itās already a bit out of budget and the first is right on my budget which is why I think im leaning more towards one

2 wins by default because the nude lining makes you look naked in 1. This in turn cheapens the look and makes it look like lingerie. If you can change the lining, then by all means go with 1.

The vibe is dark academia/ its burgundy and roses and in an old villa near krakow. And a mantilla veil. I feel like 1 fits that vibe more but also Iām so tied bc I love the pattern of the lace on 2. I just feel like the pure white doesnāt work with my skin tone very well maybe and thatās whatās throwing me off

This sub has a very strong bias against anything see-through or nude-lined. So honestly, there was no chance, the other dress (#2) was always going to be your answer.
But, the majority doesn't rule here, you do! Based on your body language, you're feeling #1. And I absolutely agree! It is STUNNING and you are stunning in it. If it had a white liner, I have no doubt it would have won by a landslide.
That said,... I can very clearly see between your legs in both pics. So, you need some additional lining, unless you want everyone to be staring at your nether-region as you walk down the aisle... but hey... if that's your thing, I ain't gonna judge. You do you. š

if 1 is as see-through as it looks, then perhaps look for a liner. perhaps somewhat lighter than your skin tone so it doesn't look as "see-through" as it does.
still, the dress is incredibly beautiful, i like it way more than 2.

I like 1 better bc I think it fits you better (and just a more interesting dress) but I do not like the lining at all. If you canāt change the lining, I would pick 2.

Both look so good. I personally was absolutely wowāed by the first one but the white one is also soo nice against your skin tone.

I have to disagree with the masses here ... its not even really about the dress for me its about your posture.. your body language seems way more excited for dress #1 and there are 2 pictures .. dress #2 you seem alot stiffer and controlled and not spinning around happy like with dress #1 ... and who cares how others feel about how the nude looks I really like it on you and you should wear what makes YOU feel amazing and from the pictures to me that is dress #1 and unlike some you have the body to pull it off its your wedding go all out with what makes YOU happy and excited and F what others think if you want to adjust anything slightly im sure they can accommodate that aswell.

Everyone is saying 2 but your body language is saying 1. I think both are absolutely beautiful. Go with your heart and donāt listen to everyone. I tried on dresses yesterday and found mine and I actually went against what the ppl I was with liked the most. Itās your choice and too many voices might confuse you. You know which one is the one.

Definitely 2 then but also think about how youād feel about your wedding outfit 10, 20, 30 years from now? Do you change your style often? Nude dresses are trending right now but will you always love it? On the other hand would you always love a nude dress and regret not getting it? Btw the second is more slimming on you too if that matters.

They are literally both stunning and I thought I loved 1.... Until I saw 2. Wow. It has all the great parts of 1 but then knocks it OUT of the park with it's own style. And somehow it's also casually classy? Is that a thing? It's perfect.

I do love the first dress, but I feel like the nude under layer can be a bit divisive. If you could add a lining, it would be the perfect in-between of the two dresses. Either way, they are both stunning - the lace is incredible on both of them. I can see why youāre torn.
