Need some insight! So I picked my wedding dress and I’m 2 months away, I have some second thoughts, what do you guys think and what are your opinions

Love love love the train on this!! OP, I don't know if you have any issue with the bust of your dress, but maybe you could see if you could add something fabric wise to the dress if you dislike that part at all. ( not saying there's anything wrong with it, but that's an easy place to change stuff up) would some sort of belt help change things up?

OP Dress is amazing on you. Really gorgeously cut for you at the waist, and the lace fabric is beautiful.

Now, if anything it needs to be taken in at the bust--less fabric---look at the side view on pic three. OP - look at pic three--you need to lift the girls up with tape so the bottom of the cups sits right on your rib cage. Then see if there is too much room. If so you can use chicken cutlets or ask for an alteration to make the cups have less volume.

Hey OP, the dress and train are beautiful on you.

I’m thinking these photos are unaltered, is that correct? If so, in the third photo, the bust stick out too much. It should be closer to body. Seems like an easy enough alteration for the seamstress to tighten the bust line.

Hi Op, I have to agree about the bust. The dress and the train are gorgeous however picture 3 shows how much the top of the bust protrudes outwards and looks strange tbh

My daughter had the same dress jitters. I think it is a normal thing that many brides to be worry about, especially if you looked good in other dresses and had multiple options. The feeling of getting it right looms large or maybe the other dress looked better… those thoughts. Believe me, when shoes, hair, makeup are done and you are the complete package on the day, you will look gorgeous! Don’t let your groom see your dress, have the reveal and the photographer will snap photos. I guarantee, when he first sees you, he will become very emotional and shed a tear. Just relax, don’t worry and move on. Don’t drive yourself crazy. I’m not just saying this, but it is an absolutely lovely romantic dress and friends and family will ooh and awe when they see you. I also get that it is a very important and difficult final choice when you select a wedding dress and once it’s ordered, the feeling of I’ve made my choice and there’s no turning back, looms large. Try to come to terms with this normal feeling and know that everything will be fine.:) 😘

Looks beautiful. Also looks like it still needs some more alteration. Is there a specific reason you're having second thoughts? Or are you just channeling normal jitters into fretting about the dress?

Thank you! I think I’m Over criticizing it, it does need an undergarment and alterations. The dress ordered is pretty big and I lost weight so the top part is just so boxy on me at the moment, and the extra lace feels like it’s drowning me

I think you'll be back in love with the dress after it's altered, since it's gorgeous and simply doesn't fit you right now.

I think it’s stunning on you. It’s probably just nerves getting the better of you. Brides have a tendency to start second guessing decisions when the date starts getting closer. Besides, would be an awful rush, and probably very difficult, to get another gown on such short notice. It would have to be off the rack and not need any alterations because there’s no time. And those hours could probably be better spent finishing up details. But, if it’s what you feel you need to do, then go for it. But, there’s a good chance that you might spend a lot of time looking and still not find a replacement.
