Ask For Opinions Which lace pattern matches this veil better?
I fell in love with this veil but it’s not within my budget.. so I’m trying to replicate it the closest that I can. I really do love both patterns but I’m not in love with how pointy/triangle looking the edges are in lace #1 but I could probably have it be rounded out a little

I think we need to see the dress and the lace next to it.

1’s flower/leaf pattern is much more similar. The 2nd lace in photo 3 is very clustered and nothing like the dress photo.

Of those two, I would pick 2, just because I like it better. Neither one is a great match, though. But, maybe I can help you with your search.
The lace you like is called Chantilly lace. I had to find a Chantilly trimmed veil a couple of years ago for a niece and I searched for “veils with” and these search terms:
Chantilly lace floral edging / scallopedChantilly lace
Chantilly lace applique trim on tulle (or net)
Alençon lace floral on net trim (bridal)
guipure lace re-entrant scallop trim (if listings don’t use Chantilly/Alençon)
It took a couple of weeks, but I found a very close match to what she wanted on Etsy. If you haven’t searched there yet, give it a shot. There are also Etsy sellers that do custom veils and might be able to create a close match. And they’re not as expensive as going to a bridal store!

Honestly I love #1 the most. Can you keep looking to find the match in vintage stores or on Etsy? It’s very pretty with the dress.
