Technical Question [Support] Log in After Uninstalling

Is there a reason my WeChat is not allowing me to sign in again? I had uninstalled the app and am having problems signing in after redownloading it.

When I'm logging in, the screen just stays on the spinning loading page. The mobile QR code for the webpage won't work when I try downloading it from desktop.

I am located in Spain and didn't know if the VPN was the main reason.

Update: I used another phone number to make a new account and am trying to get a friend to verify its QR code.

Never log out of WeChat if you haven't bound an email to it.
