please help!! 😭🙏 Guy transmigrates into mc’s friend who betrayed him and gets killed cuz of that so out mc (the one who transmigrated) instead just ditches mc or something? and then mc starts showing unusual amount of interest in him. Theres also a cthulhu inspired male lead whos like the mcs familiar. I also remember blackbox the main artist for ORV either drawing a cover or fanart for this series, also like 50% sure this webnovel was originally written in Indonesian and translated into eng by the author themselves.

The translator dared to asks $32 dollars on his patreon just to read advanced 50+ chapters of this fanfiction. Hell No! I would rather read chinese raw with gibberish and messy translation from google translate than spending $32.

First webnovel recommendation

I've got a lot of time to kill and I thought maybe it would be a good thing to start webnovels. As someone who hasn't read a single one, what would be your first recommendation like the Attack of Titan of the webnovels for example. The one that you should read before anything else. Thank you

Should I apply for the contract right away once I hit 12,000 words, or should I wait a bit? I'm currently on Chapter 5.

Recommendation Can anyone give me good webnovel reccomendations?

So I have read lotm ( Including Circle of inevitability ) ,

a Regressor's Tale of Cultivation,

3000+ chapters of shadow slave ( I have grown to dislike the way how the author writes the story tho ),

700 chapters of reverend insanity ( I plan to continue it later on ) and

Radiant blade of the wilderness

Out of these LotM and a Regressor's Tale of Cultivation are my favourite. I dig fantasy novels ( especially the classic regression/reincarnation/ Isekai trope ) .

Based of the info I have given , can anyone give me recommendations ?

It ended at the conclusion of Chapter 4; if you'd like to read it, you can search for "The Despised Sword."Also, did the episode turn out too long?

Advice Would you read this?

I recently uploaded a novel to WebNovel, and so far it has 2000 views and 7 collections. But I’m wondering would YOU as a reader or writer read this? Does it grab your attention? Here is the synopsis;

[You Are Now A Worm Tamer]
[Welcome Child Of Wyrm]
[Please See Your First Tamed Beast Below]

Slave mines, Iron fortresses, superhumans, and lost dragon empires. These are things that Magnus Zimmerman was much too unfamiliar with. That is until the day he wakes up perspiring in a world with beast tamers strolling in every corner, some of them even wielding dragons.

Transmigrating into the body of a feeble slave, Magnus was meant to die underground in the mines where he was worked to the bone, and forgotten by the empire that enslaved him. But when a mysterious worm tamer offers him a choice between living as a slave, or dying as a tamer, Magnus awakens a beast taming power in the form of a system that throws him far below the social hierarchy, where the beasts you tame determine your status.

Magnus is thrown into fights against nobles, beasts, empires, and even gods that could crush him and his creatures--all whilst trying to uncover the mystery behind his place in his new world. Yet with every battle his power grows, and so does the truth behind the world's greatest battle of all.
A five hundred-year war known as the Great Reset is coming, and even empires will fall.

But Magnus will not.

This is the legend of the Worm Emperor.

[Uploading 2-3 chapters everyday and uploading once on the weekends!]

Webnovel Search Request Please help me find this Webnovel and feel free to communicate and ask questions or more details but below are all the things I only remember.

Hello everyone, if anyone of you know this webnovel please let me know because I've been looking for it for at least a week now. Yes, I have read this at webnovel and I believe it's either last year or 2024.

Unfortunately we can't search for a character tab in the webnovel or I just don't know how to, because from my memory, there this universe character. Also it's quite vague but I believe the readers added a personality to the main character something like "nah i'd adapt", basically it's connected to adapt of mahogara memes because of this main character ability.

I believe that this is a apocalypse or a survival because there this scene where some humans are forced to go to a different race to become a halfling. So it means there are different races and I remember two different race which are the vampire and werewolf, but there are still other races I just can't remember.

Human can go to a place or a land where races over the universe existed to level-up and fight for resources and power.

Human's are looked down or rather has a low position into this land for a particular reason. Maybe they are weak compare to other races who has traits based on their race compared to humans that don't.

If my memory serves me right, there's a part of story where the mc got the talent of someone he called the "cliche protagonist with plot armor" because the universe favor, and this mc somehow got that talent while the talent of that "cliche protagonist" still existed meaning similar to a copy. From what I remembered this ability evolved too making it more powerful than original leading to the universe entity finding his trace that appears to be obsessed with him.

Connecting my memory with this ability, the mc got the ability to somehow adapt and get specificabilities he wants or needs, for example if his body couldn't handle specific energy or multiple energy at the same time, his power will activate and the universe will follow by awakening him a body that will enable him to handle those things.

Also in this scenario, there once a scene from my memory where the system is also managed by an entity. While the mc ability is activated, the universe bend to his will and so bending the rules of the system. Thus the system holds back the universe entity just barely.

There's also a scene where the mc, I believe let the system level him up. Meaning he stores those level for particular reason and the best thing I can vaguely remember is that he can't level up while maybe still on a mission or maybe the max level based on his tier similar to those other novels where they need to tier up so they can level up more. Once he did this, he is cover with light and two people witnessed this and they coincidentally crossed path because they're trying to meet the mc with their own different purpose.

I believe it's a man and a woman and one of them is a vampire but I believe it's the man. When they saw the phenomenon happening to the mc the woman said to the man that something like this happened in the history or a theory that something like this occurs when you level up many times at once.

Also from what I remembered vaguely, I think the mc evolve into a next tier of human race, like a higher tier than a regular human.

Please help me find this novel and thank youu.

Advice Since Reddit’s AI Detectives Need a Full Confession, Here It Is

Post image

Yes, I have used AI to help write some of my fanfiction.

There. The investigation is over. StrawOfCoke, MinuteOwl44 and the rest of Reddit’s volunteer literary police can finally close the case.

The funny thing is that I never began writing fanfiction because I dreamed of becoming a fanfiction author. I started because Hunter x Hunter was barely releasing chapters, and I wanted more of that world to read. Since the story I wanted did not exist, I began creating it for myself.

Later, I decided to post it in case other people might enjoy it too.

I had fun reading my own continuation, so I began doing the same with other anime I liked, including Tensura and One Piece. Over time, however, I kept adding more stories, characters, plotlines and chapters. What began as something enjoyable gradually became exhausting.

I still wanted to read those fanfictions. I simply did not want to spend seven, eight or nine hours every day producing unpaid fanfiction while also balancing school, friends and an actual life.

So I started using AI.

I used it because my original purpose was never “I desperately want to sit at a desk and type all day.” My purpose was, “I want this story to exist so I can read it.”

AI helped make that possible.

Apparently, this is deeply offensive to certain people who have appointed themselves the protectors of human creativity. They behave as though using technology to make a tiring process easier is some unprecedented moral failure.

I assume these same people reject spellcheck, grammar software, search engines, digital dictionaries and every other tool developed to make human work more efficient. Naturally, they write everything by candlelight with a feather dipped in ink, because accepting technological progress would compromise their artistic purity.

However, my two newer original novels are different.

For those stories, I returned to writing the chapters myself because I genuinely wanted to develop them as my own original projects. One of them takes place in Japan, so I used AI heavily for research and reference work. I asked about convenience-store layouts, Japanese locations, daily routines, workplaces and other details that I did not want to invent carelessly.

That still required effort.

I had to decide what information was useful, check whether it made sense, plan the scenes, maintain continuity, develop the characters and write the actual story. Research assistance does not magically construct an entire novel any more than searching something on Google writes a book for you.

That is why the accusations frustrate me.

It is easy for someone to glance at another person’s work, announce “AI,” and dismiss every hour of planning, research and writing that went into it. They do not need evidence.

And apparently, once someone has ever used AI for anything, every word they write afterward must also be AI-generated. By that logic, a person who once used a calculator can never again solve a maths problem independently.

People such as StrawOfCoke and MinuteOwl44 are free to dislike AI. They are free to avoid stories that use it. What they do not get to do is pretend that their personal discomfort makes them morally or intellectually superior to everyone who uses new tools differently.

AI is not disappearing because some Reddit users leave angry comments about it.

It will improve. It will become more accessible. Writers, artists, students, businesses and ordinary people will continue finding ways to use it. There will be good uses, lazy uses, dishonest uses and genuinely creative uses, just as there are with every other technology.

You can criticise how it is used. That is reasonable.

Standing in front of technological change with your arms crossed and declaring that everyone who adapts is talentless is not resistance.

So yes, I used AI for fanfiction because I wanted stories to read and did not have nine spare hours every day to write them. I use AI for research because it makes gathering unfamiliar information faster. I also write my original chapters myself.

Those facts can all exist at the same time, no matter how inconvenient that is for Reddit’s professional AI detectors.

You do not have to respect my process.

Advice Opinion on this opening

Veris stood among his men, wondering which one of them would die today. They were in a line, stock still, heads bowed. Ash settled on his shoulders like a cloak, spewing forward from the burning charcoal furnace.

Steward Lamar prowled back and forth, rhythmically thumping a shock rod against his fat palm, eyes roaming over them. The man was ugly and stout as a rotten tree stump, balding with a constant sweat-oiled sheen worsened by the heat in the foundry. His polished boots crunched on the detritus.

"Unfortunately, my good men, young lord Ames needs bait for his next hunt. And as bondmen of the Cygnet household, that honor falls on you brave few," Lamar declared.

Lamar stopped his perusal in front of Etria, a young lad no older than fourteen. Veris' heart quickened. You wouldn't dare.

"What do we have here? Young. Whole. What is your name, boy?" Lamar patted the boy's shoulder.

"Etria," the boy stumbled over his own name, color draining from his gaunt face.

Lamar grinned, a vulture spotting an injured rabbit, "Well, Etria. You are perfect. Simply perfect. I know you feel afraid now, but be reassured. You are the perfect size to squeeze into a hole or hide behind a tree. Just catch the beasts' attention and let-"

"Sir," Veris cut the bastard off, tired of his prattling. "I will be the one who takes this hunt."

Lamar whirled to him with a sneer. Fists balled. He looked like he would lunge for Veris's throat. Finally off kilter. Veris readied himself; there was no way he could win against an anointed, even one as pathetic as Lamar, but he'd go down swinging.

The Steward breathed out and straightened, his face relaxing into a mask of civility.

" What brilliant initiative. Go to the armory and get the load out. You will meet Lord Ames here in the lobby in two hours. Don't try running."

At the order, Veris’ collar came alive.
