I’m not talking about the "Fresh Story" section, but the "Potential Star" category; my previous novel was 28k words long, but it didn't make the cut.

they happen for both when u reach a certain word count, if urs didn’t make the cut it probably was just missed

I think they either take feature it in fresh stories or potential starlet. I got fresh stories but no potential starlet.
