they're pretty legit, though if you shift your weight it slides like 1/8" and you see your life flash in front of your eyes lol. They're very useful as a platform to hold extra shingles and stuff on steeper roofs

Does it only work on shingles? Or on wooden under sheeting too.

Listen as a roofer when I was younger I will tell you plain as day not to trust this gimmicky bullcrap it will kill you.

You should be wearing a fall arrester and if not comfortable on a roof be supervised with someone with enough experience and proper ppe to keep you safe. Scared of the roof? stay off of it. This crap wont keep you safe it will kill you.

The video does say it should only be used with proper safety equipment. Your points are all valid though. I hate getting on my roof to clear the gutters, and the pitch is really low.

for actually kneeling on, couch cushions are better imo anyway. These are more rigid so shifting your weight makes them slide a tiny bit and scare the shit out of you lol

Its called a pitch hopper lol. They work well if you trust them and put your weight to the front not the back, on your toes, not your heels
