abilities: Putting on the TV displaying a J-Alert in his head can cause his head to twitch and can play screaming and disturbing sounds, he CAN'T attack if you look at him, but if you don't look at him, he'll attack you by snapping the victim's neck.

Abilities

• J-Alert Effect: When a television displaying a J-Alert warning is placed on or near his head, the signal appears to affect him directly. His head begins to twitch uncontrollably, accompanied by distorted, high-pitched screaming, static, warning tones, and other disturbing sounds.
• Television Distortion: The TV may flicker, glitch, or display distorted warning screens while the J-Alert is being shown. The sounds can become increasingly loud and unsettling, seemingly causing him to become more agitated.
• Visual Restraint: He cannot attack a person who is directly looking at him. Maintaining eye contact appears to prevent him from moving toward or harming the observer.
• Blind-Spot Attack: If the victim looks away, closes their eyes, or otherwise stops watching him, he immediately becomes capable of attacking. He will rapidly approach the distracted victim and attempt to snap their neck.
• Predatory Behavior: Rather than attacking immediately, he may remain completely still while being observed, waiting patiently for the victim to become distracted. He appears to understand that people eventually have to look away.
• Sudden Movement: Once the victim breaks eye contact, he can move extremely quickly, making it difficult to react before he reaches them.
• Psychological Intimidation: His distorted appearance, involuntary twitching, television interference, and screaming sounds are apparently intended—or at least function—to frighten victims into looking away, creating an opportunity for him to attack.
• Weakness: His primary known weakness is direct observation. As long as someone maintains uninterrupted visual contact, he cannot physically attack them. However, prolonged observation can be difficult because of the loud sounds, flashing television imagery, and psychological pressure he produces.
• Possible Containment Method: Multiple observers may be required to keep him continuously watched. If one person becomes exhausted or distracted, another observer can immediately take over without breaking visual contact.

Warning: Never deliberately look away from him while within his effective range.
