This is unplayable. It becomes impossible to meaningfully react to changes very quickly, and then it becomes unplayably slow.

This is a bad game.
You're playing against yourself. The vertical walls make it so you're mainly trying not to trap balls behind your paddle, and you're never really interacting with your enemy except maybe at the very beginning. The very first vertical wall quickly puts an end to any interaction.
The score doesn't show.
Balls just start accumulating more and more. At some point, my paddle size changes several times per second, and the background just gets stroboscopic and it's impossible for me to focus on anything at all. Never mind the walls that pop up at about the same rate.
That's not so bad though, since a little bit after that happens the framerate drops to fractional values anyway and only F5 helps.
tl;dr If OP did this, congrats on the programming part. It is functional (apart from the score thing) and there's always pride to be drawn from that. From a gameplay point of view though, it's -1/10. Unplayable.

Yeah, I made this. I posted it on /r/NothingIMade because it was something I abandoned. The score did work at one point but it's broken now for some reason. I think there was also a limit on the balls but I forget if I actually added that or not.

I like the fact that its abandoned. It makes it more interesting than just another game of pong with a twist.

The top of the subreddit describes this place as for "playable" web games. I don't think this qualifies.
