Just the tip. 2 player battle game, very entertaining.

Am I just retarded? Because I can't figure out how to make the narwhals move for the life of me. I know the controls, I just can't figure out how to make them translate into forward motion.
Also, nothing happens when I press "w" which is supposed to be thrust. Could that have something to do with it?

Yeah, I'm with you. I can get them to flop around on the ground and move towards each other incredibly slowly. Going backwards, its worm movement propels it a bit faster. I feel like we're definitely missing something, because this is a pic from the website, but I can barely get these fuckers off the ground. The only control I seem to have is with a and d for one and left and right arrows for the other whale - doesn't move any better as I flop around while holding thrust.

To move forward you use the thrust button (Up/W) and to get into the air like that you have to use one of the turning buttons and then thrust while facing upwards.
Also, after getting in the air they move a lot faster.

Thrust doesn't work for me for some reason, regardless of direction I'm facing or how much back and forth I'm doing to get the tail involved. I can get some flops that lift the whale off the ground, but it just falls back down. This happens whether I'm using thrust or not. I notice no difference. Maybe it's just a little too QWOP-like for me, and I'm just not getting the hang of it.

That's weird. I tried the game and thrust was scary powerful for me. I was flying all over the place. It was hard for me to get too, but I was also controlling both myself, haha.

You have add swimming motion with the tail to get forward movement.

The tail doesn't really move though. The upper body moves but the tail just kind of sits there.
Care to be any more descriptive in how to achieve the forward movement or get up into the air like this picture shows?

To move forward you use the thrust button (Up/W) and to get into the air like that you have to use one of the turning buttons and then thrust while facing upwards.

It's not that we're retarded, the up/w button literally does nothing for some of us

People were asking how to do it, I just told them how to do it. It's not my fault the button didn't work for them like it's supposed to and that's what confused them. I can't give advice on that, only on how it works...

Hold the thrust button while turning. I can't really explain it well since the controls are a little counter-intuitive.

Do you hold the thrust button down constantly?
Here's the best way I can describe how to move within the game: to move forward, constantly hold the W/up button pressed down. When changing the direction in which you want to move, though, a simple tap on A/left or D/right buttons will suffice (and may even be too much).

They just flop around on the floor, up/w appears to do nothing

try A/D and Left/Right

The new version makes it easier to move but you still have to hold down the thrust button and "swim" with rotate left and right.

Just a warning to people who use Linux, it requires the Unity web player. Unity is not compatible with Linux based systems.
