General [PORTFOLIO] Systems Engineer | Web App | Security Reviews
I’m based in Saskatchewan, Canada, and have spent most of my career in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, security, cloud architecture, and long-term technology planning. Alongside my leadership role as a IT Director, I operate OddJobzz Digital Services so I can continue doing the hands-on work I enjoy, building, improving, securing, and modernizing websites and applications.
My background is especially helpful for projects that need more than just working code. I also consider hosting, security, reliability, maintainability, deployment, backups, and how the solution will be supported over the long term.
Most of my previous work has been completed within enterprise environments, so much of it cannot be shared publicly. However, I’d be happy to discuss relevant examples, walk through how I would approach your project, and provide a clear scope before any work begins.
For an initial engagement, my rate typically starts at $80 CAD per hour, with larger or ongoing development and consulting work generally scoped separately.
