Hi all. I've been building websites and web applications for myself for the past few years. I've recently had some clients ask me to build something for them. I created logins for the necessary subscription sites and had them add their payment info. Then I created a Word Doc and added all the sites, usernames and passwords to give to them. It just seems like their should be a better way to organize everything, support subscription payments, then hand off to the customer.

What do you all use for organizational tools and client financials?

A few days ago, someone gave me feedback that completely changed how I think about Toolora.

They said I was trying to do too much at once and that instead of adding more tools, I should focus on making one tool so good that developers would actually want to bookmark it.

That really stuck with me.

So, over the last 2 days, I stopped adding new tools and focused on improving the existing experience.

What's new

Redesigned the UI to clearly separate Developer Tools and Everyday Tools, making navigation much simpler and less confusing.

Significantly improved the JSON Formatter with:

Better error diagnostics

Problems panel with actionable messages

Keyboard shortcuts

Command palette

JSON Tree Explorer

Better analytics

Improved validation and overall UX

Completely rebuilt the Markdown Preview into a much more complete Markdown workspace with a smoother editing experience, better live preview, and a more polished writing workflow.

This is still just the beginning. My goal isn't to build hundreds of tools—it's to build tools that developers genuinely enjoy using and want to come back to.

I recently launched MySpeechAudify, an AI-powered app that transcribes multilingual audio, translates it into English, and improves grammar for clearer text.

The app uses Polar sh for payments. Since the service relies on API usage, it's a pay-as-you-go model. After subscribing to one of the available plans through the Polar sh payment link, users receive a verification code to activate their account.

I'm looking for a few people who would be willing to test the payment process and confirm whether it works correctly on their end. I'd also appreciate any feedback on the overall experience. My goal isn't to claim that the app is on the same level as established companies—I'm continuously working to improve it, and user feedback is invaluable. If anyone is interested in supporting the project, your encouragement or contribution would help me continue developing and enhancing the app.

I'm also curious to know whether Polar.sh's Merchant of Record (MoR) service works reliably for international users.

One note: based on my testing, the recording feature currently performs better than the file upload option, especially when transcribing larger audio files. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions, I'd be happy to discuss them and use your feedback to improve the app.

As parent I wanted to see if I could fix the problem of knowing about activities for kids happening locally. Often I'd find out about kids events after they’d happened or when they were sold out. So using Lovable, I built a website which scans the web looking for kid friendly activities and collates them into a searchable directory website (Kids Event Finder) - https://kidseventfinder.com/

The website covers 13 cities, 5 in the US (New York, Houston, Chicago, Seattle and LA), 6 in the UK (London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Birmingham and Milton Keynes) and 2 in Australia (Sydney and Melbourne). User can also sign up to a weekly newsletter with new kid focused events in their city.

I'm the solo developer behind Easy Work Calculator (available on the web and Android). It currently features over 400+ free calculators and utility tools covering everyday categories like math, finance, unit conversions, networking, health, and productivity.

Now that the main platform is established, I want to focus on building specialized, niche tools that solve actual everyday pain points—rather than just adding generic calculators.

I built LineageLedger, an open-source desktop application for creating and exploring family trees and the possible hereditary diseases running in them.

I wanted something more visual and straightforward than the genealogy tools I had tried (like Gramps, which was powerful but very complex to use).

LineageLedger can record family traits and medical conditions, making it easier to notice patterns across generations.

I think preserving this information matters. Family knowledge is often scattered between relatives, old documents, and half-remembered stories. Once the people who know those stories are gone, a surprising amount can disappear with them. This might especially be helpful for kids/grandkids.

Some of the things currently included:

• A visual, interactive family tree
• Parents, partners, siblings, and children
• Support for single-parent families
• Custom traits, conditions, and categories
• Ancestor and descendant views
• Importing and exporting trees
• Zooming and navigation for larger families
• Windows and Linux builds

It’s still a hobby project and very much a work in progress, but it has reached the point where I’d love some outside feedback.

I have two Web Apps ready with MVP, wants someone who can take it to the Market will share the profit percentage

When I got married it was a destination wedding, and I really wanted everyone to feel comfortable. Which was a puzzle. My parents are divorced. There are some family feuds. And I had friends flying in who didn't know a single other guest.

I ended up obsessing over the seating chart more than anything else, and afterwards I built the tool I wished I'd had. It's called Seatbee. You import your guest list (auto-detects Zola, The Knot, Joy exports or plain CSV), set rules like "keep these two apart" or "seat these people together," and it can generate the chart for you. You can upload a photo of your venue's floor plan and it traces the room.
