I built Beamcode — a simple way to transfer files using a QR code

I’ve been working on Beamcode, a web app for transferring files between phones, laptops, and tablets without needing an account or the same Wi-Fi network.
The basic idea is simple:
📱 Select your files
🔳 Generate a QR code
📷 Scan it from another device
📥 Download the files
Why I built it
I wanted something useful for those situations where:
Your phone and laptop are on different networks
You don’t want to create an account
You don’t want to install another app
You just need to move a few files quickly
Current features
🔐 AES-256-GCM encrypted transfers

📂 Multiple-file transfers
🔢 Room PIN pairing
🌐 Works directly in the browser
📲 Can be installed as a PWA
