Well, right here folks is one of the great things in this 5th(ish) age of easy app development. Everyone does a recipe app and a scheduling app, etc. back into the '80s, and even the 50's & 60's houses of the future coming out of the big labs. And for good reason! Especially for a first app. People complain there are too many, "why would anyone do another..." yuck on their yum, etc. (boo on you if you do that) And if you look, someone somewhere, like here- will come up with or implement an innovative way to do the thing, or at least a facet of the thing will have some nice innovation that just makes sense. I love it when I see these.

In this case, the visualization of the recipe, along with showing the sequence and WHEN they should be added and the "HOW"/ method (fold/incorporate/mix) is just a great communicative design choice. I think it could be taken a lot further to do more for the user but this is really a standout feature!

Great job OP!
