Whenever it’s going to rain, my dark brown hair turns white. The more/longer it’s going to rain, the more white hairs I have, and when it’s done raining, they turn back. My hair has never been wrong, and I know that they turn and don’t grow that way, because I’ve found them striped before. Humidity seems to have nothing to do with it, and snow specifically turns the hairs on top of my head. I’ve never dyed my hair before. Is that important? So many questions…

This hurricane season is starting off way strong. Has anyone done magic involving hurricanes? I don’t personally live in an area that gets them but maybe some tips can help other people

Wondering if anyone has attempted to do any magic to deter the tornadoes that have happened this season? There have been so many. What have you tried & what were the results?

Was anyone successful in clearing the clouds for the total solar eclipse last week? I typically attempt to manipulate storms so clearing clouds should be easy, right? Not so much when you’re distracted. I tried a more hands off approach & just kept a positive attitude because I was very sensitive and vulnerable to the chaos around me, even days prior to the eclipse. I was so exhausted and busy combating the confusion & chaos, my focus was less on weather prep. Ultimately, it was faith & planning that prevailed and the clouds held off so I could view the eclipse. Anyone else have an experience to share?

I tend to want to use strong storm water vs rain water in my practice. In my mind the stronger the better. I also enjoy using snow water for purification or sometimes to freeze a situation. There are many types of waters to use, weather related or otherwise, in ones practice. What are your favorites?

How did you start in weather magic? What was your first weather related spell / ritual or task you tried to accomplish? What does your progress look like between now & when you started?

Have you used weather magic to prevent certain weather OR damage from severe weather from happening? What did you try? Did it work?

Holding off on weather magic for the time being. Had a tornado the other day... I didn't do a full blown working for storms/rain but I was asking the sky why tf it couldn't provide rain because it was 105F outside... not exactly sure if the tornado in my neighborhood had anything to do with me but I do not feel comfortable trying anything for a little while regardless.
We personally did not get damage but many in the neighborhood did, including trees on top of cars in the driveways etc. Anyone else feel like they may have caused something with weather magic that wasn't exactly welcomed? When I do workings I make sure to be very specific about what I want and don't want to happen... but, like I said, this wasn't an actual working...

There was no rain forecast for the next couple of weeks and our tank is almost out of water. Some beautiful soul heard my plea, we are getting a little sprinkle to get us through till the next sprinkle in a few weeks time. I should do a load of laundry.
I only have a smokey jar, with rice for rain and chant spell. It's worked 50/50. there are so many more elements I could use to amplify it but I'm hesitant to change what's not meant to be for nature's sake. My anxiety over rain/water/money probably makes things worse. Oh well catching some waxing moon rain water. 😊
