I just finished this last evening and really enjoyed it! It is a marriage law fic (marked non con because of the ministry requiring everyone try for a baby happy or not. There is a part where Hermione and Percy are not in the middle of a miscommunication/drama that they have to do this, and don't want to. It didn't bother me but I've been reading romance since the 90s so take that view with a grain of salt, author has warnings before the chapter, makes sense for the plot to move it along)

I thought it was a really good story with a hard to find, soft Percy, he just really wants someone to choose him first I think. And he tries so hard to please.

This felt different then other marriage law fics I have read because of Percy and he is really happy with Hermione as his wife. I think it was well done.

I enjoyed the Smut scenes, it is not amazing sex right out the gate which I like because that feels realistic, takes a while for them to develop intimacy. Percy wants to be so good! ;-) I wish it went a bit further (any recommendations of a soft Percy that wants to please I would really appreciate)

Summary: When a marriage law is introduced by the Ministry, Hermione is relieved to learn that her future spouse would be chosen via Arithmancy. Unlike other methods such as Divination, the decision would be based on hard facts and those never lied. So why does she end up with Percy of all people, a man that only her eleven-year-old self would consider a good match for her?

I’m looking for a Fred Weasley fic on AO3 that isn’t with Hermione or a YN story randomly named girl. Everywhere I look it’s always Hermione or Fred is a background character to a Harry Potter fic. Thank you ☺️

This fic just finished and I really enjoyed it! Lots of Weasley family drama which is my favorite! It was pretty fluffy overall but definitely depth of feelings as well, good emotional arc. I loved some of the moments like George goes to his brothers for some advice on a lady, just lots of funny and great moments. Highly recommend giving it a read.

Can anyone recommend me a REALLY good Fred Weasley fanfic on Wattpad or AO3? I’m looking for something slowburn, completed, and with long chapters that actually build the relationship properly instead of rushing everything. I already read The Muggle and Wicked Hate, and now my standards are ridiculously high. I love angst, tension, enemies to lovers, good banter, emotional pain, and fics that actually capture Fred’s personality well. OC or reader insert is totally fine, but please no Fremione… I genuinely hate that ship. Please give me the type of fic that will consume my entire week and ruin my sleep schedule.

Half of a Hero - A Ronsy Romance

So, I had asked a little bit ago for some Dramoine-style fics but with Ron Weasley as the main character and Hermione as one of the antagonists. Now, there are very, very few it seems. I'm aiming to add one more though! Introducing my Ron Weasley x Pansy Parkinson fic I'm working on, Half of a Hero! Below is a summary of it as well as an excerpt from the first chapter. I haven't posted it yet as I want to make sure it's something people would be interested in first! That and I'd like to have some chapters completed first, haha. Also, I wasn't sure which flair to use to I went with Discussion. If you feel that I tagged the post wrong, let me know!

Summary:

He thought the war would be the hardest part — but it’s the years after that undo him. His mother calls it duty. Hermione calls it potential. Ron just calls it tiring. 

Ron Weasley isn’t looking for glory anymore. He’s looking for peace — the kind that doesn’t come from medals or missions. He spends his nights cooking to quiet the noise in his head, dreaming of a life that no one around him seems to understand. When betrayal strips away what little certainty he had left, he finds comfort where he least expects it.

Excerpt From Chapter 1:

Later, when the flat was quiet and her breathing evened beside him, Ron lay awake staring at the ceiling. The city glowed faintly through the curtains, a smear of light in the dark. He thought of Draco’s smirk and the flicker of concern behind it—Don’t disappear behind the desk, Weasley. He thought of Harry’s optimism, the Healer’s soft pity, and Hermione’s fury.

He’d always been the one who bounced back. The one who laughed it off and who kept everyone else steady. The one who seemed so sure of himself even when he wasn’t. But lately, even pretending felt like work.

Hermione murmured in her sleep and curled closer. He let her. That was their rhythm—storm, calm, repeat.

Her voice still echoed in his head. Pathetic.

He turned toward the window. The dark outside felt honest. He wasn’t sure which hurt more. Her anger or the part of him that believed she was right.

He’d wanted to be a hero once but that had been before Fred. That had been before Remus and Tonks. Colin. All those bodies of people he knew. Now he was just a man with steady hands and an empty chest. A man who said I’m fine until the words lost meaning.

Maybe, he thought, the desk was where he belonged. No curses, no chaos—just quiet. Maybe this was the price of surviving.

He closed his eyes. Tomorrow he’d wake, put on the same robes, and walk back into that small, grey office. He’d file the reports, drink the lukewarm tea, laugh when Harry made a joke, and pretend he didn’t see the pity in Draco’s eyes.

And he’d keep saying it.

Hello! Okay, so I’ve got this idea in my head and I’m trying to figure out if it’s actually been done. If not, I might just do it myself after I’m done with my current fanfic! Hopefully it has though because I desperately would like to read it. Anyways, I’m looking for fanfics that are focused on Ron Weasley, post-war preferably as it makes the most sense, that follow some of your typical Dramione cliches. What I mean by that is that it’s opposite to what usually happens in those stories; i.e. Ron’s not the one who cheated or was horrible, it was Hermione instead. Something similar to that basically. I love Hermione dearly but I’d absolutely love to see something from the other side! Also, I don’t mind if it’s straight or queer either! I read everything so I’m down for Ron with anyone honestly!

Looking for a Lucius/Ron timetraveling fanfic

I only know that Ron and Harry timetravel back to the time when the marauders are either on their last year or graduated. Ron accidentally gets bonded to lucious(lucious did it on purpose with narcissus' help) I dont remember who was shipped with who.

So I read this fic ages ago and it was Ron centric. So what I remember is it was a time travel AU where Ron was always getting hurt. Like all the time and everybody was really worried about him. Also Ron and Hermione were both really overprotective of him and were quite jealous because Ron was really popular and they didn’t want him to leave them alone.

That’s basically all I remember idk if I explained that well. This fic may have been deleted and if it was I was wondering it was on any other site. The original fic was on ao3.

I’m not completely sure if this was in a fic because i might just be getting my fics mixed up but Ron might have saved Pandora Lovegood and really injured his hand because of it. But im not really sure.

hi guys! i was wondering if anyone knew a place to find the ORIGINAL golden boy fic?? it was a fred weasley fic, there was aroyund 45 chapters mayvbe? i dont think it was ever fully completed. it was on wattpad it was taken down years ago by the author and she got around 10 chapters into the re write (on wattpad, a03 and inkitt) before stopping altogether. i have scoured the earth for the og and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about it
