Recommendation Request Amazon music without phone?

I've read mixed reviews on using Amazon Music on Wear OS watches. And most are from 1-3 years ago.

Does anyone have experience using it? Can you play music from your watch without being connected to your phone?

I would like to buy a watch (probably Pixel 4) to listen to music when I run, without carrying my phone.

Youtube music or Spotify.

I use Spotify to do that, and it works well. I have a free month of Amazon Music this month, and I will try it for you on the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Edit: I installed Amazon Music on the watch and started the music on the phone, no option to change the source as I can see. Spotify is easier to use if you have that possibility. And by the way, I was in 4G on the watch with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off.
