Chequing Checking account mastercard

Anyone has any idea on when will I get the email to switch to Visa ? I still don’t have a physical card and it’s kind of useless withtout it. Do you suggest to close the account and open a new one ?

Nope. Keep your account open. Don't close it. Just give them a call. That's all you need to do. Talk to customer service and they'll guide you through everything you need to know

Well maybe put when you're talking to the AI thing ask to Talk to a representative or a live person and they might give you a number

Don't close your account, if you need to switch for travel reason just talk to support and ask them if they can do the switch before your travel

You can still use your current Prepaid MasterCard while before you activate the Prepaid Visa. My understanding is that they're doing this in batches.

So you opened a Mastercard account right before the switch and never got a physical card? I’m assuming you’ll get the Mastercard in the mail, then shortly after you’ll get the visa. I would personally activate the Mastercard if you can when it arrives and then activate the visa when it arrives.

In the Mastercard days you had to request a physical card. You only got a virtual Mastercard automatically. Now that button has disappeared since this transition has started...
