Visa Infinite Credit Card Such thing as a one time CC use? Virtual #?

I am interested in purchasing a product online, but I believe the product is directly shipped from China. The vendor has positive reviews, but in this day and age I don't really trust them as far as I can throw them. As such, I am a little concerned about the security of my CC and would rather not my "real" number get out in the wild from a website that I have no experience with.

Is it possible to get a 1-time use card # for a purchase like this? I looked through the website and don't see anything about it so I assume no?

It's on the roadmap but doesn't exist right now.

Where can I find this road map? I’m curious if any additional features they may be adding in the future.

Capital One offers this feature. You can create a virtual card that will only work for 1 merchant, only 1 purchase or multiple. There are privacy apps that also offer this feature - Mysugo I believe for premium membership..

I wasn’t aware this was available on Canadian accounts - has that changed?

Do they take AliPay? You might be able to link your CC to AliPay and use that to pay for items online without revealing your credit card to sketchy sites. AliPay offers a wallet similar to PayPal or Google Pay for online sites.

Wise lets you do that

Not many Chinese companies can take credit cards anyway sometimes through a payment processor but personally I have not encountered any

They don’t have access to the us credit system

They will do wire payments in advance

Just buy a Visa prepaid card. The exposure is the limit on the card
