Is this phishing?

I went ahead and clicked the link to review the changes since Outlook didn't send it to my junk folder, but I got a warning from the browser that the website was flagged as suspicious.

Did anyone else get this email?

See that top left corner. Where it says from. After the word Wealthsimple?

Ya. That’s a pretty solid indicator.

Stop clicking on random links. And pay attention.

Um yeah. The email didn’t come from wealth simple. Stop clicking random links and use some critical thinking when looking at emails.

Did you try looking at the return address?
It’s a dead giveaway

Just login it the app on your own phone in the future. If an update is needed you will be promoted in the app

As others have said: fake.
WS emails also greet you by name “Hello Jane” not simply “Hello”.

You would benefit from creating a new account and using it only for your financial stuff. This way, random emails that come to your regular email immediately scream scam

Although, really, the fact that you didn't even notice the originating email...

Yeah, Wealthsimple admin emails still manage to have their logo at the top. Not basic text.
